What we store
- Your account email and a securely hashed password.
- Your career profile, resumes, and cover letters.
- Job postings you add and any cached job-posting content.
- Your subscription status (payments are handled by a payment processor).
How AI uses your data
When you generate or tailor documents, the relevant text is sent to a third-party AI provider to produce your results. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Exporting your data
You can export your resumes and cover letters as DOCX files at any time from each document's page. The files contain real, editable text.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and everything in it from your account page. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run ResumeHarbor: a third-party AI provider, a payment processor, and hosting/database providers. We do not sell your data.
